As the holiday season comes to an end, we look back with gratitude, warmth, and pride at everything we managed to achieve together.
This year’s Christmas campaign reminded us once again that when people come together with kindness and purpose, real change is possible.
Once again, together with dozens of incredible people and our partners from National Fund Sveti Nikola, , we managed to Make Christmas Happen for children in need – and in ways that exceeded even our boldest expectations.
At the beginning of November, we launched the campaign with an ambitious goal: to bring joy to 50% more children than the we did in 2024, which meant reaching 150 children.
Thanks to your support, we went far beyond that — fulfilling the Christmas wishes of 226 children from 15 care centers across the country.
Through the shared gifts and additional donations, our support reached even further. In addition to these 15 centers, we were also able to help the center in Blagoevgrad and the Community Support Center in the town of Pirdop, allowing the warmth and care of the season to reach even more children.
The enthusiasm surrounding the campaign was so strong that the children’s wish cards were not enough for everyone who wanted to take part. Many of you chose to go the extra mile by purchasing additional materials and supplies for the children and the centers, such as drawing materials, plasticine, diamond paintings, board games, treats, cleaning supplies, and many other thoughtful items that brought joy and supported therapeutic activities for some of the children.
One of the centers also had an urgent need to repair a clay kiln used in children’s therapy, at a cost of 500 BGN which we also covered thanks to the donations.
The emotions throughout the campaign – the wish cards, the anticipation, the dedication of the givers, and most of all, the smiles on the children’s faces when they received their gifts – were truly unforgettable.
And yet, this was not all that we achieved TOGETHER.
As every year, donors also had the opportunity to support the campaign financially. From the very beginning, we announced that these funds would be directed toward our “Make a Wish” campaign, through which we provide meaningful birthday celebrations for the children in Blagoevgrad. Your generosity exceeded our expectations again as we raised 4,000 BGN / 2,000 EUR, ensuring that we can cover the birthday celebrations of all the 13 children from the center Blagoevgrad throughout the year.
We’d like to give a big shoutout and express special gratitude to the wonderful humans who took part in the campaign not only with donating but also helped with the organization.

As a beautiful conclusion to everything that happened over the past two months, Dari s Rita Foundation celebrated its 2nd anniversary, and we are proud to share that our website is now live.
With our platform now being available we are now having a place where support does not end with the holidays, but continues every month, allowing us to create lasting change together.
