Making Birthdays Special with “Make a Wish”

Bringing Joy to Every Birthday

The center is home to 15 children, aged between 6 and 16. With the support of our givers and volunteers, we make sure that each child feels special on their birthday. We prepare a personal gift for every one of them, bring cake and pizza, and create a festive atmosphere where they can truly celebrate.

But the most beautiful part of this initiative goes beyond the presents. It’s the moments we spend together with the kids – playing games, dancing, doing fun sports competitions, and simply talking. These are the times when trust is built, when we get to hear their stories, learn what excites them, what challenges they face at school, who their best friends are, and what they dream about.

Building Bonds that Last

Over the past two years of working with the FTRC, we have built a close relationship with the children. Every visit feels like a reunion – we look forward to seeing them, hugging them, and sharing time together. And just as we anticipate the visits, the kids eagerly await us too, knowing that each meeting brings joy, warmth, and the feeling of being truly cared for.

Why It Matters

“Make a Wish” is not just about birthdays. It’s about giving children the chance to feel loved, celebrated, and seen. It’s about showing them that they matter—not only on their special day, but every day.

We are grateful to all of our supporters and volunteers who make this possible. Together, we are making a real impact and building the change that matters!
