“Adopt a Pitbull” is a volunteer-driven Bulgarian organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pit bulls and pit-type dogs – breeds often misunderstood and overlooked in shelters.
Since 2016, their team has been working tirelessly to help abandoned dogs in the municipal shelter in Gorni Bogrov near Sofia, where over 1,500 animals reside, many of whom spend years waiting for a second chance.
