Our first full month in which you’ll have the opportunity to subscribe and vote for one of our monthly causes.
For December, we chose to present three causes, all focused on helping animals in need.
Thanks to our campaign “Making Christmas Happen TOGETHER”, this year we will support more than 230 children, therefore through our December subscriptions we want to extend this kindness to those who are often overlooked – animals in need.
Although for many of us they are a beloved member of our families, there still are tens of thousands of animals in need across the country. We have selected three causes that we know, trust, and stand behind wholeheartedly.
1. Adopt a Pitbull
“Adopt a Pitbull” is a volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for pitbulls and pit-type dogs, who are often misunderstood and overlooked in shelters.
Since 2016, their team has worked tirelessly to help abandoned dogs in the municipal shelter in Gorni Bogrov near Sofia — a shelter that houses more than 1,500 animals, many of whom spend years waiting for a second chance.
2. Dom Dinev – caring for 255 animals
At the Dom Dinev shelter, over 255 dogs and cats receive daily care, food and warmth. Located near the town of Elin Pelin, Home Dinev provides a forever home for those who noone took home.
Donations help provide food, bedding, blankets, heating, and medical care – everything needed to keep the animals safe and comfortable throughout their life.
3. Care for Max
Max is a senior dog, over 10 years old, found abandoned and in very poor condition. He has incurable cancer and multiple spinal hernias, yet has the chance to have a peaceful and comfortoble rest of his life.
Since no foster home was found, Maxi was placed at “Roshkovtsite’s Villa”, where he receives daily care and food. Donations cover his monthly stay of 450 BGN, ensuring he can spend his remaining time free from pain, warm, and safe.

For the Pitbulls in Gorni Bogrov
- Weekend walks every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM — essential for socialization and improving their chances of adoption.
- The “Warm a Bogrov Pup” campaign, collecting coats, blankets, and warm bedding for the dogs during the winter.
For Dom Dinev
- Ongoing campaign to donate plastic dog houses — durable and warm shelters for the 255+ animals they care for.
For Maxi
- Maxi is still looking for a foster or permanent home, and someone who will give him the love and warmth he deserves – a quiet, safe space where he can feel cared for and at peace.
