“Making Christmas Happen” – Our Second Year of Christmas Magic
In December 2024, we celebrated the second year of our partnership with the St. Nicolas Foundation for our Christmas campaign “Making Christmas Happen”.
This heartwarming initiative brought together volunteers, givers, families, and co-workers who all became “Secret Santas” for children from family-type residential centers across the country. Each child wrote down their dream present, and together, we made sure those dreams came true.
The Impact We Created
✨ More than 120 people took part in the campaign.
✨ We brought Christmas magic to 123 children from 12 family-type residential centers.
✨ A total of 126 presents were lovingly wrapped and delivered.
✨ We also provided essential supplies for the homes, making life a little brighter for the children.
Some supporters chose to give through financial donations, contributing 2000 BGN. These funds were redirected to our “Make a Wish” campaign, which supports the birthdays of children at the Family-type Residential Center in Blagoevgrad.
In addition, we fulfilled a special request from the Center for Community Support in Pirdop, providing modern equipment for their speech therapy room to support children with special educational needs.
A Double Celebration
While we were caught up in the Christmas magic – handing out cards, wrapping gifts, sharing tears and smiles – we also celebrated a very special milestone: the first birthday of DARI S RITA!
